Thank you! I took one loaf to church for potluck (first Sabbath of the month) and it went over very well. Challah bread has a taste and texture about halfway between cake and bread. Kind of soft and sweet.

Watched ‘Where the Crawdads Sing’. Liked the book better, but the movie wasn’t bad

I only read the book. I enjoyed it.

Oh bummer. What kind of trees? Our poor oak. Going to take me awhile to get used to it being gone. Feels a little like an old friend passed away.

Felt that way about the old oak we had to cut down last year, Wishing. Older than DH and now it's gone. Kind of sad.

I havent felt good today. Fell but my chair caught me face forward. Just got the blas I guess

I'm so tired I couldn't fall asleep right now, but then I would wake up at midnight and be awake til sunrise. Not good. At least we got a little sun this afternoon. If you see the sun, try to get out and soak up some rays. It can help.

We had a sunny day today, and no wind. Actually got out and walked around the house, inspected the daffodils. Now that my feet don't hurt as bad, I'm determined to start walking regularly as much as I can and try to regain my health! I want my body back!

I took Pi over to my sister's place and we ran some errands. When the rain let up, we took the dogs for a nice long walk along the creek. Saw some mallard pairs and beautiful little Black Phoebes. (Dopey me didn't think to take pictures.) Unusual to see so much water in the creek these days.
More rain to come!

I was thinking the same thing about the creeks! It’s so uncommon ‘round here.
