Granny's gone and done it again

7lbs 2oz. 20 inches. Jane Cynthia came last night at 9:27 Gave us a scare at first. Dr. usually lets baby crown for a bit, but saw that the heart slowed way down and told her to push..push hard! Bronwyn was a trooper. Hardly any breaths between pushing because he kept saying ..again..counting down from 10 quite fast..then..she came out..fast! Nurse made a compliment to the dr..nice catch. :) Yep, I saw that! Was quite blue, wasn't crying..little squeaks helped get some air into the lungs.Started to turn a little pink. They called respiratory in and had her lay on her tummy under the warmer. Finally, a loud outburst of a cry. She sounded really rattely for a while. Dr. said not going home until Monday until her chest sounded clear. Sounds better today! :) She's so tiny compared to her 9lb 2oz boy! View attachment 3422541
How wonderful, so glad it all ended well

I think I'm gonna have to cull a hen... for aggression, sort of. She jumps up at me when I'm feeding, like, she won't wait two seconds for me to reach into the container and scatter the scratch. She'll jump up and try to grab the container out of my hand. And if I have to turn around to close a gate behind me first, she will bite my pant leg, or the other day she actually nipped me on the butt and it hurt! She's starting to scare me a little bit, almost like a rooster although she's not quite that bad. Any suggestions?
Throw a bit of scratch so she is busy while you are doing stuff.
My fertility test chicks.

The worse feeling in the world is when your feral flock rooster AND his harem are in their future pen (not ready gotta redo the coop) and you can't just trap them the buttheads :hit (can't use the words I said irl not kid friendly) threw them some feed to keep them coming there

You do realize that chicken wire will not keep predators out?
