Thank you all. She is doing well and can come home tomorrow. They had to pump her stomach.. wasn't keeping her milk down..sometimes they have a lot of air. She had a big lump of amniotic fluid! Drinking fine now. Poor baby had a rough start.

It’s snowing a tiny bit this morning. Walking out of my room was pretty cold

We got a good snowstorm last night. A good 3 or 4 inches.

I think I'm gonna have to cull a hen... for aggression, sort of. She jumps up at me when I'm feeding, like, she won't wait two seconds for me to reach into the container and scatter the scratch. She'll jump up and try to grab the container out of my hand. And if I have to turn around to close a gate behind me first, she will bite my pant leg, or the other day she actually nipped me on the butt and it hurt! She's starting to scare me a little bit, almost like a rooster although she's not quite that bad. Any suggestions?

I had one like that. She was my favorite hen, she just liked attention. Mine didn't bite my butt but she always did peck my moles and freckles.

Throw a bit of scratch so she is busy while you are doing stuff.

Nice looking chicks! What color adults do you have now? I just got some but they don't look nearly as nice.
