Granny's gone and done it again

@Wishing4Wings, I took your excellent advice this afternoon! Took broom with me when I went out to feed, and used it to block Merida when she would have jumped at me. Had to repeat several times and it agitated the flock but she did quit. Will repeat as needed. I did not toss scratch until she backed off. Thanks!

are tthey hard to make? Drooling..
No, not really. I had frozen pie shells on hand. Preheat oven to 375 and place two cookie sheets in to preheat. Saute chopped onions in butter, add garlic, set aside. I had fresh spinach but frozen is better. I chopped mine fine, cooked it, drained it, squeezed it dry, set aside. Beat 4 eggs, add half and half (1-1/2 c.), half c sour cream, add salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg, stir in 1 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese and 1/4 c shredded Parmesan cheese. Add the spinach and the onions and pour it into the pie crusts. Place pies on preheated cookie sheets and bake 40 to 50 minutes or till puffed in center and just set. Cool on wire racks.
