Do you have any info on her? Is she used to sleeping in a bed? Some dogs just tear them up. Mine hate beds in their crates. I think they get too hot.

she has a bed at the shelter. I told Robert to not put it in the crate til we know she is housebroken.

Oh ok she is in a shelter. Too bad you can’t get one that someone has fostered. Then you would know how she acts in a home.
