Check with your insurance! Some will cover the cost of a windshield because your deductible is higher than the cost of the windshield. I've had that happen for me a couple of times. It's worth a phone call.

Considering it only got put in the insurance just this Friday, hubs put the cheap liability only on the car and…according to the dmv it’s a junker title that’s been revived to salvage….

…yeah. Not holding my breath. Also not watching my insurance jump from a dumb donkey claim.
