Granny's gone and done it again

I only have one Dutch oven and I wanted to make multiple loaves of sourdough bread today. So I decided to bake them in regular loaf pans. This was the result.

And I am happy to say it is delicious even though it is not very pretty, lol.

Really! At what height(s) do you put it? Does it work to keep chickens out of a garden? (Expecting answer to be loud laughter.)

I put them about a foot apart, all the way up the fence posts. Never tried it for chickens.

Heard on the news that it's national lobster day. It was celebrated by someone pardoning a 111 years old lobster and returning it to the sea.

Wonder how you know how old a lobster is? Wonder if a lobster that old is worth eating? I mean, maybe it was no big sacrifice to throw him back. More like a, Oooh, ick, I ain't eating that tough old thing, get rid of it! Happy lobster day!

Heard there is a plague of crickets in Elko, northern NV. Asked my brother who lives in Las Vegas if he knew any good ways to cook the things. He said no crickets in his area but they are having a plague of grasshoppers! His cats ate some and got sick.
