Granny's gone and done it again

Yea, I've been seeing that on the news. Sad thing. Dan Crenshaw was saying something about the coast guard or someone was blocking aid in the search.

This was yesterday's news, as reported in Politico:

The U.S. and Canadian Coast Guards have joined forces with commercial, research and private vessels and aircraft, as well as teams from other countries, to search a span of the North Atlantic now twice the size of Connecticut.

Sadly, of course, today they have found a debris field indicating the loss of the Titan submarine vehicle and the entire crew. But the Coast Guard did not interfere wuth rescue efforts.

They’re doing a family road trip to Grand Canyon and other points.

And then next weekend is the adults only trip to the river. Kids go to the grandparents, dog comes to me.

And I waxed my car last weekend. Not so shiny anymore lol.

I like Daisy. She has the face of a dog with a sense of humor. I wish I could meet her. And I like it that Goose likes her.

Humm. Somebody here, one of you guys, gave me a link to AKC Marketplace. I put in that I was looking for a Golden retriever within 100 miles. I got seven hits, I think. This breeder had some puppies, but only 2 males, 5 months old. I hesitated, said I'd prefer a female but I didn't mind an older one as I am a bit old to housetrain a puppy. She suggested this 2 yo, as she also breeds Shelties and is getting out of Goldens due to her own age. She is not a puppy mill. She has an amazing facility and has show dogs. We are trying Jenny out and have till Monday to decide. She is sweet but shy. But I think she will work out. She is bonding to me.

I gave you the link, H2o recommended the place. Is she housebroken and will you get her spayed? 2 yrs is a good age I think.

She slept beside me last night and there were no accidents. She has lived in a kennel with a dog door, her owner said, so she knows to go outside when she needs to. And yes, we will have her spayed. She is due to come into heat pretty soon so we need to do that.

She is very quiet and kind of subdued at the moment which does not surprise me, she is out of her element and stressed. She has been kind of stand-offish, but is warming up gto me gradually. She's sleeping beside me on the floor.
