Granny's gone and done it again

Took my Gracie to the vet. He spent quite a bit of time with her and me. We know the teeth are bad. Wondering is she's shaking because of a bad tooth. Or two. They're bad, and I take her in every year for cleaning. She's just old. He's pulled 4 from her already. Now he asks if I'm sure I want to have them cleaned considering all that she has going on. Another something he added this time, he's detecting a heart murmur. I told him that I couldn't imagine living with a mouth full of pain. He says, I'm not going to talk you out of it. I told him whatever happens. I have a sister that lost an older dog during teeth cleaning. If you could see her teeth you would certainly understand why I can't let her live with them like this. Friday she goes in.

sounds like he was asking you to let her go.

Yes, she's lost 6 lbs since last year's visit. He asked when the last time they did a panel on her. I didn't want it done. I don't want to know if she has cancer. We're treating her with pain pills as it us. Hope that doesn't sound bad, I just wouldn't be doing any more for her anyway.
