Howdys all, Rough day and night. Looks like I poisoned Tom and myself with the chicken noodle I made. He got the worst of it because he ate more then I did but its coming out both ends. I have been up with him since 4am. He has finally settled down some.

Decades ago while working in an orange grove I caught a baby Bob White quail in my hands and got to hold it for a minute. Never will forget that moment in time.

it was KFC from thursday. I took 2 breasts and made a big pot of soup. Robert ate a piece of the chicken from the bucket and didnt get sick so I just dont know.

My bitties aren't doing so well with the heat. Big girls are fine. Caught a rattlesnake in the big girl coop this AM though - that's one way to get hubs to cut "poop o clock" short - me running in "BABE THERES A RATTLESNAKE IN THE COOP!"

After dispatching him we felt like we should have maybe left him - he was doing quite the number on our squirrel population - but I don't need to be surprising a dangernoodle while collecting eggs so...

wouldnt the chickens of ate the snake? You would still need to dispose of the head though

Yikes. Sorry to hear that. Glad he’s getting over it.
