The good news is I need a total hip replacement. The bad news is I may not get to have one. An injection is being scheduled for placement right into the hip joints. I did get some relief today from an injection near the joint. In the muscle area I think. I can walk well enough with a walker to go out an repair a vital water line that got cut this morning by the lawnmower. I'm so glad all the chicken water fountains had been filled.

So the shark watching season is on TV these days. I love watching those shows! Today i got bitten! No, not a shark, someone's dog. Ugh. The ceramic studio owner's daughter has a dog that doesn't like me. They came up with the bright idea of me giving him treats so he will like me.
I just make it in the door, she hands me some milk bones when my arms were full of tools, baskets etc. I walk past where she had the dog on a leash and quick as a wink, the dog lunges and bites my leg! Thank goodness i had jean shorts on, or it might have been worse. Barely broke the skin, and didn't bleed much. All i can say is that dog was lucky my hands were busy, because i would have grabbed it by the neck and choked it for a while! I have no patience for dogs that bite people. Too many nice dogs need good homes, just get rid of the biters. They claim it never bit anyone before, and is up to date on shots. It better be. I think i will see if i can get a tetanus booster tomorrow. Not due for a couple years, but why risk it? Tetanus is very painful and deadly.

People are idiots. I'm sorry you got bit.
