Interesting day at the farm with mixed news. Did get the race track and the NE paddock's mainly wormwood weeds mowed down. Found out that Yanza is fertile she just turned 2 on June 3. She HAD a real nice little Royal bull and he was totally cleaned off BUT didn't make it somehow. There was some blood around his mouth area SO who knows for sure. Mike swears it was alive before I got there BUT then he also swore it was Partly Sunny's calf.

hit 98* today so I knocked off about 3:30 grabbed eggs and headed in.

it was a little small, personally I suspect the heat got it. OR lungs weren't fully developed OR it got hurt somehow.

The well men and Mike saw about a 6 foot long bull snake last week BUT they aren't poisonous.

I've been taking Mucinex morning and night to help manage it, along with Robitussin and an antibiotic, but nothing stops it completely. It's a bear! Today I felt better than I have in almost two weeks so hopefully the worst is behond me.

We gave it up. Both of us drenched in 5 minutes. Starting early in the morning. Right after daylight while it is in the 60's. Cant do 90's. To danged old I guess.

There is nowhere around here thaat sells vanity plates for the van. I think Nifty should come with some for his store. Free advertising for him and offer personalized , Wouldnt that be cool? What say you?

How do you know it was Yanza's calf?

Because she was the one hanging around the calf and her back end still had a little discharge. Also Partly is still 'large"
