If we catch a good sale on cabbage we may have to can a few jars to try and if we like it like we generally do maybe grow a bunch to can.

I've grown chard! Rainbow chard. Cooked..it tastes a lot like spinach to me.The only garden green I've tried and not like is chard. That tasted like mud to me.

Rainbow is a pretty plant. The stalks are different colors.Ive never tried it.
I'll try some on the soil we have here. The last time I tried just red stalked chard the leaves were really yucky. It was grown on a heavy clay soil. We have a sand and clay mix here.
