Poor girl. With all my workspace being in a carpeted area I’m just keeping her crated and going outside with her for my “coffee break”. Least husband is home around five so then he can hang with her in the not carpeted area. It’s gross but if she leaks blood or discharge on the tile or laminate that cleans up easy.

I used to put men's underwear on them with absorbent material in there. Hole for the tail, of course.

I decided to call my sick little goat Babe. She is still not producing too much mucus as long as i don't feed her milk only. So that is encouraging. Another good sign is that when i go to feed her, she is standing up. When she was in the barn, she was laying on her side a lot. Good ventilation in this chicken coop, window on all 4 sides. Important in hot weather like this.

freaking so long to do the update I didn't realize needed to be done when I have a MASSIVE STACK at LEAST a screamin goat high of invoices to post.

I pulled my first cuke today. Its about 7 inchs long and plenty fat. I am going to peel and deseed it then put it in my pickle juice jar so Robert can have a dill pickle With so many blooms on the plants I should learn how to make my own juice.
@Wishing4Wings Your poppys are still going strong. Such beautiful blooms. I didnt expect them to bloom all summer long. In another pot I planted one of those rolled seed blankets and it had poppys as well! Red and a bluish orange so far.
My magic beans are doing good as well. They are starting to bloom!.
Fawn went down to feeding 2xs a day today. She is a quiet dog. She does love to run though and play with the cats. She will soon be 7 months already. Still shorter then Bandit but just barely She is chunky. Same weight at 40lbs.

, one of the young ones. One of Misty's kids. Probably from the kids peeing and pooping in the feed bins. So i need to wash them out every time, not just dump contaminated feed. Idl if any of the other goats might have it. I am going to put the goats in other shelters besides the barn tonight. It is going to take me a while to clean out the whole barn.

What do you mean, every time? Every DAY? Isn't there some kind of feeder they can't toilet in? This makes me REALLY not want goats, even more than I already didn't, lol.

Friends of ours got a whole bunch of beautiful plums and some other produce from the Bread Shed Sunday, but they gave it to us bc they left on vacation this morning. Not sure what to do with this huge quantity of plums, I cut some of it up and put it in the food dryer. Guess I could make jam or something?
