Hot or not I need to step outside long enough to run a couple of gallons of water on 5 peach trees and check one coop and get my carcass back inside ASAP. The longer range weather call for a cooling soon for us. I hope so. I need to plant some mustard and turnips for us to can and the chickens to eat instead of so dang much store bought feed.

As I was stepping outside a thunder bolt got my attention coming in from a couple of miles from the west. We may get a shower but I still doubt any real rain that we need.

I miss the Kroger we had in TN. Some of Kroger's store brands were as good as national brands. I only know of one item that was not good at all. When we were shopping Kroger they really had good ice cream. No sugar added flavors too.

I mak my own ice cream. I got a machine called a ninja creami. I have to make my own so I get no sugar
