I don't know what a new dryer cost but I do know what a new washing machine cost us today. In round figures $1000 after an extended warranty and sales tax. When we bought the washer and dryer both in 2012 $1,000 paid for the pair.

Wow! I cant carry wet clothes out to a line . It would be too heavy for me. No way I can pay that. Maybe they will give me a credit card.

dr diagnosed me today with the same thing you have. tremors

I've been having tremors in my hands too. First my left hand, now both. Forgot to mention it to dr when I saw him a couple weeks ago, so no dx yet. Guess I let the warranty on my body run out, now all my parts are going to pieces.

BTW the washer we bought was a front loading Maytag that was on sale for $300 off. It may be the last one we ever buy. The Maytag we had in FL lasted over 30 years. So did the Gas Dryer.

I tried hanging clothes on a line when I first moved here. It's so humid here they like to never dried!
