So glad i didn't go to the swap. Too tired and it's a hot day.
Our neighbor is coming for after dinner drinks tonight. So i need to clean up around here. Ugh.

Make the drinks strong and she wont care or notice a messy house. haha

A daughter came over and is helping my disabled wife clean house today. Our pet chicken got well enough she got the boot from her indoor coop to a large dog kennel on the porch. Every time she got out of her coop for a minute I had to clean up a pile. She has a cell mate to keep her company from now own. She can't go back to the main flock because she lays lash eggs and needs to have some special care. Her cell mate has a cloudy eye and may be blind in it. Not sure. It is being treated so they make an even couple. It got so hot out today I thought I wasn't going to make it back to the house.

I can relate to oversweating. Back when I did roofing we would sweat profusely for an extended amount of time, to the extent that our sweat pores became sore. That's very uncomfortable and the best treatment I found was a cool transitioning to lukewarm shower for 5-ish minutes.

I heard roofers on my friends house a couple of days ago. We're only 90..91..but I couldn't help but think it had to be really warm for them.

I heard roofers on my friends house a couple of days ago. We're only 90..91..but I couldn't help but think it had to be really warm for them.

I had a patient in the hospital that was a roofer. He got so dehydrated that he had terrible muscle pains all the time.

It's a 100° here now and it feels like 110°. That hot enough for me to stay in the AC. Once it drops to 94° I'll have to go out and check water again. One thing I do when out in the heat is to walk slow. I just got up from a solid 3 hour nap that I didn't know the world was turning after a hot morning outside.

It's down to 95° on the porch so I need to get my act together. I'm confused enough that I don't know where to start once I get out there today. I know I have to move one bag of feed to a can and fill a coop with some pine shavings and make sure they all have fresh water. Most of that I can do and make it back alive.
