How is your wife doing Larry?

She is able to meander around the house and is making dinners by putting frozen TV dinners in the microwave. There is no way se will ever be able to help me build needed chicken coops and roosts ever again. I'm afraid if I don't get the last 4-5 that I need it just won't get done and the chickens will just have to make do with the wooded area we have.

They worked us both in a the same time. For once something went right.

It's 5 O'clock somewhere and somewhere is here so off I go to stir up some trouble in one of the coops if not more.

I upset a rooster or two when I picked up some of the hens to sweet talk them for a bit.
That has a way of getting under a roosters big feathers. Especially the RIR roosters. The temp is in the low 80's here and it was very pleasant as I fill feeders and water cans this afternoon. The forecast only calls for one hour tomorrow being above 89°. I think I can live through that. Hurricane Idalia veered off to the east and is as of now forecast to hit the FL coastline as a Major Hurricane with winds of 110 mph or greater. How much this will affect our weather I don't know. It's looking like we may not get any of the rains it will bring.
