Oi what a day. The webinar was a waste of my time. Got into the office with a couple minutes to spare and had other admin try to talk to me about why I don’t park out front (1. Cause there’s only parking for so many vehicles. Hers, pregnant admin’s (she got my spot), guesstimator that brings in money and with the bosses being gone…that would leave me a spot BUT we have the other guesstimator back in town, and he’s like Sheldon with his parking spot. And she’s trying to talk to me while I’m running back to the back lugging a lappy trying to get it to boot up and connected to the network in a hurry, and of course the guesstimator who is the tech guru was out checking jobs and guesstimator who would also know the wifi password was on the phone. Doh! Anyway got myself logged on in the Nick of time for absolutely zero relevant info for me. Sigh. Then dealt with other admin “oh I can’t train other admin I got to get this done right away” while she wastes so much time shooting the breeze with a soops who came in. Eye roll.

And then I get the mil telling me she’ll be at the house after noon. YOOOO. was not expecting you so early I won’t be home til after one!! So quick pit stop by the grocery store and get home, she’s dozing on the couch already. So visit with her for a bit until it’s my normal start time and get interrupted near constantly. Oh the drama. Hubs decided that today was a good day to stop by the junkyard on the way home (I was ready to do murder at this point). Ended up getting payroll checked and stuffed back into my bag will go into the office early for sorting and entry.

And she left her sandals just out in the bedroom. Yeah. Kira ate one.

Hubs managed to sew it back together. (Lady this is why I say leave shoes in the garage - why are you Americans heathens with shoes in the house!!?!)

She’s got a lawyer meeting tomorrow am (had one this afternoon too which helped me be able to get some stuff done) and then will be heading back home.

So I’m keyed up and ready for a break already.

Oh yeah and when I went to tuck in the chickens, my Sam wasn’t up on the roost…she’s one of my og girls, she’s usually one of the first to bed so if shes not on the roost she’s not feeling well. Her stance was a bit off too. Poor girl shes over eight years old. She’s always been a sketchy chicken too so I wasn’t going to stress her by putting her on the roost.

the wedding ring pickles taste just like those cinnamon apple rings/pickles you can buy in the store.

1 batch needs 2 gallons of peeled/seeded and sliced cukes, 10 cups of sugar, 2 large bags of cinnamon red hots, plus vinegar and cinnamon sticks. Takes 6 days before you can jar/can them

I was notified that a first cousin died last evening this morning. We will be going to her funeral Saturday. While on the road when my wife is driving I may can hook my tablet to her hotspot and keep up with my annoyance right on.

Sorry you're having trouble sleeping. I sleep pretty much when I want. Sometimes I play the night owl bit, it doesn't bother me.

I need to sleep now so I can get some work done in the coops in the morning while it is not so hot. If I could just get 3 good hours every day I would be making progress. Next week the heat is supposed to be gone until 2024. Of course the forecasters are paid a lot for guessing.
