You are in withdrawal I think. Not from the pred but the withdrawal of the pred. I would do it even slower.

I've only had trouble with pred when on a high dose daily for two weeks for a lung problem. Nightmares. Withdrawal can be a mean thing to deal with. Granny it may be something else that messed up your sleep and if you have withdrawal on top of that it may be really bad. I'd call a doc or pharmacist or someone before I quit cold turkey.....

theres no one to call today. If I have another night like last night I will be in the er. My HR and pulse was bad. I could feel my heart jumping. I will take one today and one tonight but thats all I am taking.

I had a rough night too. Up and down several times. No real reason why. The last time I got up about daylight this morning my back felt as if it was about to go out. I finally went outside and did the minimal for feed and water and came back in. The remembered to take morning meds with included a muscle relaxer. What is strange now is that both of us are on the same muscle relaxer but she gets hers from an orthopedist and I get it from pain mgt. After lunch I'm taking a nap and let the meds work. It's another day of frying eggs on the sidewalk weather for us. We see highs in the 70's before the week is over.

Sorry your hurting too. My back is on fire. No muscle relaxers for me. I did take one pill.
