Granny, the package should tell you how to take it. One before breakfast, one at lunch, one at dinner, one before bed for example. Spread out through the day. It's important to follow the instructions, are you doing that? You don't want to take two in the morning and two at night ... unless it says to. Cap is right, see your doctor. Sorry you are having such a hard time!

I thought you didn’t produce cortisol, thus why you take a pill. How long have you been on that high dose?

I have no idea what I do anymore. Its adrenal Hyperplasia I think the prednisone I take suppresses the adrenal gland and the extra suppressed it too much??

I'm up but not ready for the at 'em part. It feels like 92° out and the heat has about drained me of all common sense from my gray matter.

I think I'm caught with the digital rounds on BYC. I have a long ways to go for any kind of a trophy. I don't really need a trophy. I need a load of feed tomorrow. I'm running lower than a I like. I wish it would rain and get some tender grass growing again. They don't like this brown dried out stuff. Now the Cornish will eat anything. Those crazy females ate the pine needles I was using in a makeshift nest box. Those crazy girls insist on laying in the corner of the coop in their shavings. We are going to have a discussion about this. I don't like bending over to pick eggs up off the ground.

Do you know if you have the classic or non classic?
The two major types of congenital adrenal hyperplasia are:

• Classic CAH. This rarer, more-severe form is usually detected at birth or in early infancy.
• Nonclassic CAH. This form is milder and more common. It may not be identified until childhood or early adulthood.

The pred does suppress a normal person from making cortisol. Why did she take you off? It isn’t good to take long term in a normal person but I thought you had to take it.
