I've heard this before. I don't know if my machine will even pluck ducks or not. It's been awhile since I heard something about one model of plucker not working on ducks. Said they didn't scald well or something to that effect.

I scalded a longer time with the second one. Didnt help

I think it has something to do with the oil in the feathers. Might be a thread on processing ducks on here. Skinning would ruin the cooking I would think for roast duck. There has to be a way or you couldn't find ducks in the freezer case in the stores.

the ones I roasted were ok tasting. I cooked them too long but they were so so for me.
