Granny's gone and done it again

Morning H20
Morning. If you blood test is good I wouldn’t worry about your scan. They might want to biopsy your nodules. I told my dr no. I just have a scan to make sure they are not growing and they are not. That article says Thyroid nodules are quite common. When examined with ultrasound imaging, as many as one-third of women and one-fifth of men have small thyroid nodules.

I read that too and it says right on the test they should be biopsied. I went thru that many yrs ago and it was a failed test. I just couldnt stand the pain of getting it done. I made them stop.

Let me find my first test. See if I says my should be biopsied. They have to tell you that because if they don’t and it turned out to be cancer then you could sue them. They tell me the same thing about my cysts on my ovaries. I just told them no. Let’s just do an ultrasound every 6 months. Those are not growing either.

Mine came out I was bleeding too bad.

My first one. The dr really pressured me to biopsy. I said no.

FINDINGS: Thyroid measurements: Right thyroid lobe, 4.4 x 2.1 x 1.8 cm. Left thyroid lobe, 4.3 x 1.0 x 1.5 cm. Isthmus, 3 mm. There are multiple small scattered spongiform nodules. Within the lower aspect of the right thyroid lobe, there is a mostly solid, isoechoic, well-circumscribed, not taller than wide nodule with multiple punctate echogenic foci. This is characterized as a TI-RADS 4 lesion, with the greatest dimension of 1.3 cm. Recommend imaging follow-up in year 1, year 2, year 3 and year 5 if there is interval stability.
