Granny's gone and done it again

We were in town all day. GC had a dr appt, then we ate lunch at a nice restaurant (steak gorgonzola for DH and me, chicken alfredo for her), then did shopping and a bunch of errands, got home around dinnertime. Movie then chickens then bed, to read.

Today has been one of those days where I would like to have one pill that would let me sleep for a week.

No. Pain. Weather changing. Left leg around my left knee that is shot. Needs replacing. Meds are not helping anymore.

Im so sorry Larry. The rain today got Tom and myself hurting pretty bad. Will you do the replacement surgery?

I would but they tell me I'm not a candidate for a replacement due to other medical problems that could make a bad thing worse.

Sure could use a 1/4 of a pumpkin pie covered in real whipped heavy cream right now. Out of the clear black sky tonight I got this unbearable craving for spicy pumpkin pie decked out all the way.

Costco already has them for sale.

what is that?

Well it is like chicken alfredo only with steak cut up on top in strips instead of chicken, and they sprinkled a little bleu cheese over the top. The meat was not that good, it had a lot of connective tissue in it and was kind of tough for me and chewy. But I brought it home, cut it into smaller pieces and seared it in hot oil. It was delicious.

they told me the same thing. They were all ready to get me 2 new hips til they found that aneurysm and now they wont touch me.
