When I had an infection that went systemic a few years ago, I had chills that caused me to shake so hard I couldn't hold still or do anything and my teeth chattered so bad I could barely talk. That's the kind of chills I'm talking about. I couldn't get warm no matter what I did, blankets, heating pad, warm shower, hot drink - nothing worked. An ambulance took me to a local hospital but they sent me to another in St Louis and they kept me a week. It was months before I was completely well.

To confirm my worry about the A1C it was higher than ever before. 6.0. Pre Diabetic. I can lower it now without meds. Maybe my cardiologist will put me back on Atorvistatin. That lowers bad cholesterol and blood sugar. Staying off of it didn't help me get strength back in my legs. I feel a good nap about to start in 3-4 minutes. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Yeah mine is pre diabetic also. I cut out all sugar and carbs..

I've seen them before but didn't know what they were.

I had a nap after I got home from the office visit at the docs today. By the time we got home from the appointments (both of us had an appointment in the same office at the same time today) and a stop at the grocery store for a handful of staples it was time for lunch and then the regularly scheduled nap. I overslept the nap. After doing the late afternoon chores and putting all the kids to bed it was dark. I'm getting anxious to see my son and DIL for a few days this weekend. I will be drinking a lot of coffee when they are here. My son guzzles it like his brother, uncle, and grandmother did. We hopefully will fire up the grill at least once when he is here.

Im doing ok. Drs told SD she has coupe ? Its a babys thing. something like that. Said she will probably be there 3-4 days for supportive care.
