Granny's gone and done it again

We have a backup gas fireplace but no gas service. We have natural gas available at the road but don't know it this fireplace is set for propane or natural. Just as soon not use it. We don't get more than a few days of really cold cold weather a year. 3 bad bad ones last year and maybe 10 at most of some we didn't like at all. It would cost less for us to rent a motel room in town for a few nights than raise the insurance and pay for the connection to the gas service.

What about frozen pipes?

What about frozen pipes?
We have a way to put heat into the crawl space with our generator and space heaters that will keep any pipes from breaking. Most off to the pipe is the kind that is freeze resistant. No PVC. I think it is call PEX. What we really want to add is a whole house backup generator that runs on propane. Still pondering that idea.

Granny here are some legs and feathers you might like...

You need to socialize her. Very typical behavior for a dog that never goes anywhere.
I have preached to him about this and Kevin tries.
Up one more for a Great Grandchild. Another was on the way, but she lost it last week. 🙁View attachment 3673640
Congrats on the new one. So sorry for the loss
Miscarriages are awful to go through, especially when it's a first child that is very much wanted. I lost 2
I had one inbetween my 2 kids. Its something you never really get over.

Fawn sliced my arm from wrist to elbow. Right now it has gauze pads, paper towels and electric tape holding it. No band aids that long but Tom actually just found one. Its a butt band aid! haha
I called Roberts dr again and said a few things on their machine including it had been 48 hrs since I called and I guess I didnt sound happy. They called me 10 mins. later saying they gave him 20 mg. prednisone once a day for 10 days then for us to call them back at the end of the meds. I can imagine what this is going to do to his sugar.
