The coops and hatches are battened down. I've walked all the coops today and not started my round black legs mounted to a green and yellow can. That should have me ready to sleep tonight. I've haven't had a nap today. I did sort of dozed off for minute or two in my chair.

Howdy all, Had a good dinner with Nancy today but man what a ride!. Didnt get home til almost 6. Left at 1. Red lobster was the only place we went. My feet are so swollen.

Well Granny I did get all needed chores done and mostly rested. Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 70's again and I'm going to be piddling among the coops. I need to layout where the next 3 are going. Then layout a place to plant some Muscadine grapes and a patch of corn for the girls next year. No heavy lifting but work the same.

Not big coops like the first ones. Big enough for 8-12 hens. The old big ones will be converted to housing for broody hens I hope. That is the intent. I want to make little pens inside them for several broodies at once. The second one I think a grow out pen for meat roosters that we hatch for us and family. I had to go back out tonight and close the coop I left open last night. l almost forgot it again. Must be getting old or something.

I was testing something earlier and forgot about that too. Not sure how long I'm going to be here tonight. My wife is asleep in her chair and not looking well at all. Looks like her breathing is irregular. I just need to watch her and be ready to call 911 if she stops. Not much else that I can do. She has all her meds and does what she is supposed to do. She sat down and didn't turn her computer on. Not normal for her.

maybe she was just tired. I know how you feel though. My dh will be 86 this month. Im always checking his breathing when he takes a nap.

She woke up and is watching a movie. She is exhausted I think. I don't know what all she worked on while I was out taking care of the kids.

Yes I did. Some roost on top of the hoop coops I can't catch. I'll get them to go in a new coop for some scratch and close the door on them. I'm smarter than they think.
