I never know what I'm going to do. Working swing shift for years messed up my sleeping patterns I think. We changed shifts every week.

I am not a night owl.. I like getting up early.

Got to lube my hips with a walk out to close 4 coops up. Meanwhile hold the Fort Granny.

I didn't encounter any snakes or other predators tonight. I think the snakes have gone into their boroughs. Dropping to 48 again tonight and that is too cool I think for the rattlers and copperheads.

36° here right now, 31° with wind chill. The two goats are in my truck, along with my pop up tent , 2 chairs, and 6 gallons of water. I caught some chickens and got 3 more cages ready for the rest.

I only have one dog kennel to use. I need to fabricate some travel cages for more birds at a time. I think 6 per cage is enough. I feel to many per cage might keep the prices lower.

When working swing shifts I took all the double back 16 hour shifts I could get. I really slept good after one of those working in a strip mine.
