Granny's gone and done it again

It's more scary when you thing about the possibility of money as we know it being eliminated for a digital currency.... At least there would be no way for someone to write you a bad check to pay for a bunch of chickens or firewood.

Oh but electronic/digital stuff can still get compromised and or hacked.

Well the Plan was to do the deed on Oct 21 as my brother and nephew started coming up after work on the 20th. From Cheyenne.

They got as far as the Black Hills and there a cow elk (cow meaning female) jumped out in front of their truck, TOTALED the truck, thank God the boys were ok. So I had to drive down to Deadwood on the 21 instead. Of course the curse of Sunny was still operation and about 20 miles out of town the low tire pressure light comes on. Found an open station in New England , all FOUR tires were low and none of them had the same pressure.

Doh! Glad they’re ok but that’s bad luck about their truck. Hope they got good insurance.

Gas is only 2 dollars and something in Tennessee. Austin just got back from a business trip. They rented a car from the airport there to drive to Georgia. Prices are different in every state. Food and gas and other things. I wouldn't want to live in Tennessee though. No. Or California. Just the opposite there. I don't know how you guys can live with the expenses there. Our food prices have dropped here and paychecks are higher. We'll stay put.

Why do you think we’re selling and trying to get out of dodge??

I saw regular gas today for $2.85 a gallon, but the car was nearly full.

Yeah. Wife just reminded me to set time back. I'm glad my phone and computer will both self adjust for the time change. I work by the sun to the change will not make much diff to me after a day or two. I know it effects those going to work at a certain time. The trade off is some will enjoy have more sunlight after work for outdoor activities. No extra time ever in the day just maybe an extra hour of daylight at a usable slot in the day. I used to like it when I worked a factory job and could spend an extra hour in the garden during the summer after work. No for me personally I'll side with what the majority feels like is best for them.

Meanwhile back on the farm I need to get the scrambled eggs that were supposed to be brunch for the chickens out to them to fuss and cuss each other over. I hope every one is doing well today.

I came back in with all fingers intact an no peck holes in my legs, yes it is shorts weather today. No additional scratches on my arms either. I'm going to chill for a couple before taking on the last shift of the day with the kids.

Ahhhh. Dammit. Open house is tomorrow which means….totes magoats I gotta figure out how to change the clock on the fan above the stove (seriously)

Yikes. Currently letting Skynet do its thing and dusting off the ceiling fans. Going to give a good mop today and then all I’ll have to do tomorrow is quick dust down and quick mop again/unleash Skynet and should be good to go.
