Granny's gone and done it again

what are you going to do with them all?
Spring sales as started hard to find pullets. These are American Bresse which are very hard to find good ones now especially started pullet. Some are Dark Cornish which are also scare and have been selling out for the year early where I got mine as well as at other hatcheries too. Then some are White Jersey Giants which seem so sell out early even for day old chicks. Some of the extra roos will be found at freezer camp. By January we will need to start restocking the deep freeze.

We have 20 chicks coming on Wednesday. Nothing like Larry's scale, but 8 Cornish and 12 layers. Six for blue eggs, six brown. In 8 weeks we should have 16 in the freezer, counting 8 old stew birds. We'll see who's laying this spring.
