Granny's gone and done it again

Surviving. Slept this afternoon in my chair while ma went to the grocery store. There was no place to park at Aldi's today. Still grand opening going on. I helped a little with the evening chores. Gathering eggs and filling water fountains. I can see we have to find a way to automate feed and water. We are still trying to liquidate the layers. The hens we have to lay eggs to hatch meat chickens are easy to maintain. We will get it done some how. Tomorrow I start 41 more eggs in an incubator to hatch meat birds. Eat the roos and add some hens to the few that we have now.

80 here. Rain here over the weekend? I'll believe it when I feel it. I'm asleep in my chair off and on. I nap off and on and between posts. Doc now has me using an inhaler for my lungs. I try to remember to take deep breaths but when medially drunk it's hard to remember what to do when. The doc read the report from the hospital and upped my main med script to 4 a day instead of 3 and that surprised me. l will be catching up on missed sleepls for a few days. Yall stay safe and don't falls on logs. I've ben averaging about a fall a month and that's to many.
Sounds like you need to scan your terrain and do what you can to remove these obstacles that are causing you grief. Is it stuff that can't be removed like tree roots and such?

I forget and do them only when something makes me think about it. No commercials at my place. Have TV but it sets on its stand and is only used when we watch something from my computer showing on it and that's been over a year ago now. Doing some now and then I'm napping. My wife may remind me when she gets home from a trip for groceries. She went to check out a new Aldis store. She's looking for good buys on canned tomatoes being we didn't get any put up this year. If there is a next season then we will put up 144 quarts of tomatoes plus make at least 60 quarts of sauce. At least 48 quarts of flat beans too.
That's a lot

It was either a clump of grass or a dog fennel that I had knocked down. It was in a place I normally would not been in. All my falls are more related to balance. Not even vertigo but a change of direction suddenly can trip me up. I've either got to retire fully to the porch or figure out a way to stay on my feet better. I've fallen twice I think in the house changing my mind about which way I was headed..

Coops of hens from now on. No more or more birds. I have small coops and they are easy. No more layers ever. Either fancy pet breeds or a handful of meat birds to tinker with the genetics. We will have he best fat chickens in our freezer ever.
