Granny's gone and done it again

well mixed news. 5 of the yearling heifers are sold. So just Thelma and Louise left as I am keeping the wooly on and the royal heifer as well. The wooly yearling bull is sold as well. Trying to figure out when I can get them delivered as they prefered before Thanksgiving. Waiting on brother as he is going to be my co-pilot. A job he does with United as well
 
last batch cooking now and then these get peeled and ground and turned in to beet relish or jelly. SO good with county style sausage or just on toast. There a little horseradish and some spices. Helps with a peanut butter sammie as it cuts the sweetness a little.
only time I had a beet was in a greek salad.
