Speaking of cookies. I made a batch of Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookie BATTER today, something new ... and it was too soft to handle. So I stuck it in the fridge to firm up a bit. Only then it was time to start on dinner. And by the time we ate and got the kitchen cleaned up, ... it was hard as a brick! So now I have to wait till morning to bake them. Can't wait to try them, think they will be really good. Very chocolatey, with cinnamon and a touch of chili powder, plus an espresso-chocolate chip in the center.

A lot of these bushes are super loaded with berries this year.
I think it's a honeysuckle of sorts, (I also think they're considered invasive). The Robins and Cedar Waxwings love them!

thats beautiful. I tried so hard for berry bushes here but didnt make it. I liked the beautyberry bush a lot.
