My IBS will make me very sorry if I eat spicy stuff. Not worth a blow out, lol!

I've had IBS intermittently for decades. I can not find a trigger for it. I can tank on hot and spicy Mexican or eat bland Italian pasta. Anything can get me out of bed at 2am. And why does it wait until 2am? Only in the last 2-3 years have I had episodes during the day. If I could find a trigger I could eliminate it. I know I have not been eating jagged pieces of broken glass.

Like right now I have to get ready for my colonoscopy. It will be hard on me.

I know they are a pain that a pill will not fix. I've lost a very good friend some years back because he wouldn't get one. I look at them now this way. I can fart afterwards and no one cares because there are a room full of musicians.

My wife doesn't eat spicy or hot. The corn is not hot. It only has a mild flavor not any more so than green bell peppers. Without trying it no one under stands this.

I've heard it done many times. Just haven't tried it. I wasn't saying ouch to it .. on .. the cob.

I would really rather put this POJ on the back porch until it can get fixed and buy a new one for the kitchen. I can't believe it's not even two years old and doesn't work right. Then I would have a spare for canning, etc. But I don't have the right wiring for it on the back porch.

It's very hard to quit. If you go to rehab for booze or drugs, they don't ask you to give up your smokes. Nicotine (I heard) is something like 6x more addictive than heroin.

I have a son that has quit. It's been years now. I think he's got it .. gone.
