Granny's gone and done it again

I have had a lot of them lower thingys. I always wake up! They normally remove polyps on me too. Colon cancer runs in the family.
They gave me fentanyl last time I had a colonoscopy. Very peaceful, and I woke up easy. I can see how people can get addicted to this stuff! It was very pleasant.

I know there is a way to make pudding from scratch. Need to find a way to do it and eliminate sugar.
Don't they make sugar-free instant puddings?

Evening, Grannyland! Well, here's the news you've all been waiting for: I got my chicks! They came in a little after noon. I got the call just after we got home from church, so DH and I headed for the Bluff to go get them. It's not all good news, though. Of the eight Cornish Game pullets, we only have two survivors. 😔 But of the 12 layer pullets, all are alert and lively and look very good.

I guess if I want Cornish I'll have to see if Mt Healthy has any. That's where we got our last batch, and had good results. Here's pics:

That's six Prairie Bluebell Eggers, the ones with the "chipmunk" markings, which should lay a beautiful blue egg, and six Sapphire Gems, pretty blue chickens, which will all lay brown eggs. Confusing, right? 😄 I had the CGH in a separate bin with different food, but they were all hollering, so I just put them in with the others, and peace and quiet now rules. They were missing each other! They were all a little dehydrated, but a good dose of sugar water perked them right up!

Oh, this pic does not include the CGH.

they are cute as a button Blue. Sorry you lost so many. will they resend them?
Probably not, and if they offer I'll refuse. Seems their nutritional needs are greater than those of standard chicks. Three days travel was just too much. I'll take a refund.
