Sorry about last night, I mixed up 6 batches of molassas cookies yesterday and then while the dough was getting cold/firm/stiff enough to roll into balls. I mad ethe mistake of sitting in the sucker chair. Didn't actually get started baking until after 6 pm. Everything was baked, packaged, and dishes done by about 10:30. Got 25 dozen and four cookies.

I had a small bite out of 2 testing for length of time in the oven. The dogs got the rest of them

they almost got a triple batch as I was done mixing them and then realize "you farking idiot" you forgot the baking soda so they get mixed some more.

I actually did that one year , ended up with hockey pucks. But the original Lena sure enjoyed them while they lasted her.

a couple more black and white springers and I could make a fair sized rug. Of course I would have to change my name to Cruella De-Martin
