Sigh. I now have 100% losses of my Cornish Game Hens, not one survivor. All the laying pullets are lively, bright and happy, however.

That's strange. My Cornish I got from Murray McMurray all survived including the extra.
I should add that my Cornish were shipped on October 31st of 22.
Thanks. I'm just going to take the refund from Hoover's and see if Mt Healthy has any.
I have been lucky ordering only chicks that ship on a Monday in a week when there are no holidays.
I won't order from Hoover's again for this reason. They said they only ship on Wednesdays. 72 hours, they said. Those chicks should have been here Friday. Is it the USPS' fault? I don't know. I just know I'm not doing this again. What a waste.

Not sure about shipping from Ideal out of TX but I think they ship meat birds year round.
