I won't order from Hoover's again for this reason. They said they only ship on Wednesdays. 72 hours, they said. Those chicks should have been here Friday. Is it the USPS' fault? I don't know. I just know I'm not doing this again. What a waste.

It seems to me that Monday or Tuesday would be a much better option.

Agreed. I was a bit anxious when they did not arrive Friday morning. I called and had the hatchery track them - that's another thing, you can't track them yourself - all they could tell me was that they were "in transit." Not very helpful! I am in church Saturday mornings so if they arrived then, I would need GirlChild to go get them for me. .. and she's not always available, so it was a little gut-clenching. She was, though. They finally arrived around noon on Saturday but ... it was too late for the CGH.

Murray McMurray Ships on Mondays. That's just one reason I like to deal with them still. My first chickens came from them back in the late 50's. Never had a problem with them at all.
