And then ran hot at idle speed. I always got stuck in stop and go traffic going through Atlanta in construction zones on I-75 in July/August. Couldn't use the AC in stop and go either.2 barrel on a 390 was probably starving for fuel, depending on the heads.
Could have been the radiator needed boiling out. I always thought that a lot of cars back then didn't have large enough radiators. And the ran hot at idle speed. Could be. It was new and under warranty but there was nothing visible to fix or part to replace when it went into the dealers shop. A pain that they didn't make a pill for.C

Yea, 75 Pontiac Grand Prix was about the worst I ever seen. Couldn't even get them full of coolant without it blowing back out at you.Could be. Yep, had the 351 in it.They had Ford engines. 302 and 351. Never liked the 302. Just my personal opinion.
It had the 351 V8.I didn't either. 351 was a decent engine in a pickup if memory isn't cross threaded.
sick to my stomach. The heavy bleeding is gone though. How was your day?Rested Granny? Oooo..it's almost 8:15. Granny has me thinking of the ghost. Will see if it happens again. I think a satellite is hiding behind something for a bit..like another satellite.![]()
