My signs are machined with router bits. I did some laser engraving too. Both serve a purpose. Both machines can cost more than a new vehicle too. Then there is one for cutting signs in sheet metal.

My daughter got a 3d printer. They are making me signs for my dog crates

I had a customer special order a lot of small signs (2 1/2" x 5") with the laser engraving of "This Too Shall Pass".

Cute! DH's is not that big. Tabletop model.

They make a few of those for under $1,000. Some for around $350. They are not for high production business.

Did one class in 3d printing and decided it just didn't have a place in what I was working toward. Interesting but it was just so slow. Slow compared to one of these:
