Granny's gone and done it again

French Copper Marans. The reason he's a French Copper and not an American Copper Marans is because of the feather legs. American Copper Marans have clean legs.View attachment 3717801
Beautiful. I've hatched the French also. I wasn't supposed to keep roos but I would try every now and again. Tried the collar. Worked for a while on some. Got some free fertile eggs once in a while. :) Your guy is gorgeous.

And possible snow or rain on Saturday.
I did get to build a goat door today and install it in the other half of the goat house. Fixed the hay feeder, put more wood on the door between the two halves of the goat house, because the goats were jumping through that space. Put up a bucket holder for water, and put up a wooden barrier to keep the goats from knocking over the metal garbage can with food in it.
Made a dental appointment and a dermatologist appointment. Dreading eye surgery, didn't schedule that yet.
I swear. You would have fit right in ~ in the 1800's. Hard working woman through it all.

The rain and cold makes me want to get back in my bed with just my nose out from under the covers. I have to stay up and dressed for a customer pickup in a half hour give or take a few minutes. When he has left then I will be buried in blankets. Then again I maybe should just stay up and piddle on the PC and then crash about 8 tonight. Going to get ma to check me for a fever. l do hope I don't have one right now. If only l could have notice of what is coming and be allowed to schedule it at my convenience.... I'd make sure then that it would never be convenient.

I thought you had this going on already, for about a week now? :(

My grandma was like that. That's what Mom said anyway. Grandma died when she was 43. Put a curse on her husband and he nearly cut his hand off with an axe while cutting wood for another woman.

Ah, she's gorgeous. I've often thought about having a Papillion ... better than a Sheltie in some ways maybe? Less coat, less yappy?
I love Shelties too. The Papillon is a miniature Spaniel, and all dog. Water doesn't phase them. Sunny treed a bear once, all 7 pounds of her. She has killed and eaten rabbits. Yet very loving and smart. I wouldn't trade her for anything.
