Granny's gone and done it again

I'd never even dream of walking the streets of Ciudad Juárez now like we could back in the 70's. Then taking morning tour of the open air markets and haggling for prices with the vendors for painting and other junk art. I got to see the good, bad, and ugly of the inner workings of the people and some of their infamous Federal police taking bribes and even soliciting bribes from us. When we parked on a street we paid a quarter for protection to keep our vehicle from being vandalized. From where we parked to a block down where the hotel restaurant was we were solicited at every doorway to visit the ladies...... The minister that had our group of young men down there for charity labor knew it was going to happen and didn't warn us. Lots of memories from being down there when we all were young and able bodied to do that type of work.
The bedroom work? :gig

AH that explains it, never had that issue with other types of squash. And its tuff to wash/scrub/clean off.

Butternut squash contains a sticky, sap-like substance that is released when the fruit (squash is technically a fruit) is cut. The liquid is so strong that it can harden into protective scab if the squash becomes cut or damaged—much like a tree. This sap has the same effect on skin, it creates a tough film that can feel stiff, or even itchy.
