Granny's gone and done it again

I have a Merida! Is one of my SS. She was the bravest, boldest, most independent as a puppy, lol. Grew up to be the same and is a bit obnoxious with it. When I feed afternoon snacks she's a bit impatient and if I don't hurry she's liable to jump up and knock the treat bowl out of my hand. The other day when I had my back to the flock to open the wellhouse door (where the treats are kept) she actually jumped up and kicked me in the back pockets to hurry me along! I turned around and spoke sternly to her, saying, "That's one!"

Merida wasn’t the most snuggly but she’d come up for treats. She had a “I can come up to you but don’t touch me” vibe most of her life.

When you get settled somewhere will you have chickens again?

Ugh. Hubs is getting disgruntled at me cause I want to clean the house for the new people - just run the carpet cleaner, mop, nothing too insane.

He just doesn’t get it. If the house was a fixer sure. But turnkey houses should be clean dagnabbit. Plan is to move the motorhome tomorrow (Wednesday)
