Granny's gone and done it again

Got a call from a known family that wants the rest of the layers that we are selling off to make some room for a new different breed to tinker with. That with the two new coops in the process of being built it's gong to be a lot easier doing chores. and a lot more fun.

Granny, you may feel better just sleeping in your recliner for a while. Won't stretch out that sore area of rib.
This is true Granny. I had to sleep in my recliner for 4 or 5 days. My wife knew how to brace me with a pillow behind my back so i wouldn't roll back on my back messing things up more. Finally the day came when I didn't have to use it and could lay flat on my back or over on my good side.

Whatdoyou sell a layer for?

In this local where I am I'm selling so rough looking hens that are very healthy for $5 if they will take 10. That's cheap I know but eliminates feed bill money and gives me a coop for 3 new breeds. We have to diversify some. We were getting $10 for same hens earlier but still had to many left. We have some that we will used for our eggs and for the Red Sex Link chicks to hatch from. We have hope that out of town auction that draws people from a wide area will prove out for us come spring. Hens can sell for $40 there. Here in Mayberry we are back in time.
