Granny's gone and done it again

They are expensive
That's why I don't have one. I can't justify the expense. I loved target shooting with an elderly neighbor. I hand loaded my own ammo and weighed powder out to a single piece. I had a 243 Win, and a 270 Win, and a 338 Win Mag. I only shot 3 shots at a time on one target with the 338 Win Mag. The recoil even with a sandbag between the stock and my shoulder would leave me bruised from using it not more than for those 3 shots a week. The 338Win mag caliber is used in military long range sniper rifles now. The most fun target shooting was to had load 90 grain bullets with a light load of powder and that had less recoil than the the 243 win did. I'm sure if Robert studies ballistics like I once did he knows all about the hunting ability of the Win 338mag for big game. Like big moose. One shot to drop with one shot and an instant death for a big meat animal.
