Granny's gone and done it again

And I won't use Miss Iris's remedy, I don't use alcohol. I just wondered how much a person had to take for it to be effective.
I don't use alcohol as a beverage but on rare occasions. If the master were to visit me and ask for a glass of wine I'm not going to lecture him about the dangers of drinking alcohol. I'll ask him to wait while I make a trip to get what he wants so we can chat about things I'd like to discuss. :) I can just here some of my old church members getting bent out of shape over being asked for a glass of wine. :)

I was in a BJ's down in FL some years back and went into their liquor store that was separate from their regular store like Costco or Sams. Talk about sticker shock. Beautiful decanters of fine brandy for $400. That's reason enough not to drink for pleasure.

I don't judge anyone else, it's just not something I can use. Way too much alcoholism in my gene pool.
Mine too. Neither I nor my only sibling brother would drink at a party. He had a taste of wine at a wedding but only a taste. It was so good to him it scared him. He knew the dangers of it and refused any more of it. I used to go to work parties where it flowed freely and I drank the chasers. Got a sugar high. :)

I seldom take PPs, actually. I have a muscle relaxer that works for me in a pinch, on the rare occasions I need anything. It knocks me out.
I have prescription muscle relaxers to go with PP's. 3 a day for cramps in neck and back muscles. Had them since I was 19. I take 1 or 2 now. Things are better. For a long time they had me taking them and Oxycodone. Never again. I should have married a masseuse instead of a nurse some days. :) Hope she doesn't read this or I may need a chiropractor.
