Larry, how do you keep them alive long enough to breed? And do you AI them?I still may order 10 Cornish X roosters and 15 pullets. Eat the roosters and breed the pullets to a purebred cornish rooster I have now.
I don't know. That is not what I'm using. I've got to get more info when I pick up the stuff on Friday. I may not use it if I have to toss the eggs for a long period of time. The stuff I wanted was $300 and only sold in bulk for huge layer houses. None for small operators.I got some Ivermectin pour-on to worm mine with today. They've never been wormed. What's the dosage? And do I have to discard the eggs?
Sure can. I'll try and remember to get some updated ones tomorrow. I had some of them as full adults back at about 9 months. Got one rooster too that I want to AI some to. All of them are like pet puppies. They are all over you when you go in their coop.Could you post a pic of one or some of your year-old CX?
