All that driving yesterday was hard on me. I was so tired last night, I never went outside to check the animals !I went to bed early, and feel tired even after a full night's sleep.

We have now been placed under a severe thunderstorm warning for later today. Bummer. I hate these when I have eggs in the incubator. I'm just thankful to have large computer power backup systems that will power the incubators for several hours.

We're starting to have storms rolling through as predicted through tomorrow. Hopefully, none severe

We had rough storms through here last night. We lost a smallish tree. Fortunately it fell parallel to the driveway and not across it.

I was just visiting with my dad. He is 91. He said he has to pee every two hrs at night. Can’t get much sleep.

Has he talked to his doctor? There are meds for this.

Good evening everyone. The storm is just now on us. Temp was 84° when we went out and when we came in it was 71°. It's raining hard enough now the fish can swim from pond to pond.

We are now down to 63° with steady rain. Had this came earlier in the bed a nap might have been in order.

One good thing happened today. Ma baked a loaf of bread and it came out really good. It's from her new bread machine. First try and it is great. Her first machine years ago never baked anything but boat anchors.

I'm hoping for a good crop of blackberries this year for some good jam to go on fresh baked bread as well as blackberry cobbler. It's been so long since we've had a good blackberry cobbler I can't remember were it came from.
