Good newsOne good thing happened today. Ma baked a loaf of bread and it came out really good. It's from her new bread machine. First try and it is great. Her first machine years ago never baked anything but boat anchors.
You would be surprised about what a lot of these drs don’t knowI went to a hand surgeon today. I've been going to a sports medicine dr. I thought, it's time to see one. Wow. He knew right away by looking at my hand what I needed. He does not think I have Dopeytrines. He said right away I would not be a good candidate for the xyleflex I thought would be good. Glad I called around to find a dr that uses it though, because this dr was awesome! Says I probably have scar tissue from what the other dr did. And with a trigger finger there can be two..catches. Said when the other dr. did the procedure he did, it probably caused the second catch. My hand is hurting pretty bad now. Taking my time writing here. Then I mentioned my knee. We were talking my age and I brought up how things keep popping up, like my knee. He asks..what's up with your knee? Oh my goodness he started giving me some direction on it..after he heard about my symptoms and my MRI. He said if I were his mom he would suggest a full knee replacement. The scoping only last so long. Bronwyn pipes up and says, it's like a Bandaid for a while. He says, exactly. I said that's what I worry about. Have a scope then 6 months or a year later need the full. He's shaking his head yes. I told him I had an appointment with this other dr. He knew him. He says, he's a sports medicine dr. He says if it's a possible knee replacement needed, then I need to go to a dr that does..just that. He wrote down some names. I started crying when he got into explaining the knee situation. He didn't have to do that! He's an Orthopedic dr..and as he explained went to school for that then went into hand specialist. I had told him I was going to give him a hug. He talked more about..the knee. Told me..you..decide what's best for..you. Back to the hand. I'll be put to sleep because of what is going to be needed. Only about 30 minutes. It'll be the 25th of this month. He stood up and said, now im going to give you a hug. Oh my goodness. Whew. Going to rest my hand now..fingers/hand. What a blessing to have found such a compassionate dr.
I don’t think my dad is ready for thatTime for briefs..as I call them. I used to work as CNA. Those night time briefs were so good for the old folks. They didn't have to get up in the night. Got rested.
