Oh and sold all 5 of last years heifer's today. I really wanted to keep a couple BUT needs must and Granola is young. Down to the 2 pg 3 year olds, 2 of the 2 year olds (Thelma and Louise) and then Shoe. Until this fall.

How did you get into yaks, Twist? And how long ago? Why not cattle or even bison? Do you eat yak?

So by the first week of May I will have no 2023 calves on the farm. BUT currently 11 or 12 more calves to come this year.

Comet had calved twice before I got her. She was born 2010.

Hailey (2016 model) her daughter just had number 7 in a row. Hailey had her first at about 25 months old. She was also the first heifer born on the place.
